Advancing knowledge of the brain and mental health through science, education, and the arts

SCIENCE

We collaborate with research institutes worldwide studying medical patients whose cases advance our knowledge of the human brain. The Brain Observatory is also a repository of data from imaging modalities that show the brains at multiple levels of resolution.

EDUCATION

We created the first learning center that is exclusively dedicated to the brain. Here, visitors of all ages can engage with neuroscientists and learn about the brain. Our education programs span from guided tours for the general public, to school trips, and a 'Brain Explorer' summer camp.

THE ARTS

We envisaged a space dedicated to scientific discovery, where artists do not feel like intruders and can instead enrich neuroscience with their insight and subjective creative potential. We looked for such space but we could not find it. So, we created one.
